What is EQ and Why is it Important?

When we think of intelligence, logical and analytical abilities often come to mind. And we think of IQ - Intelligence Quotient - as a way to measure that logical and analytical intelligence. However, another type of intelligence that is just as important, but often overlooked, is emotional intelligence or EQ.
